I need a lens with a range of slightly more than my Nikon 55-200mm f4-5.6G ED AF-S DX that I bought when I got my D40. Take Most images of sports and wildlife. I was thinking of getting something with 300mm. I know that Tamron and Sigma 300mm AF-S lenses that the D40 has the focus automatic. I have $ 315 to spend on a lens and I'm totally without a clue.
