What are the best accessories for my Nikon D40?

Hello, I have a Nikon D40 digital SLR camera and am looking to buy some accessories for her. Does anyone know where and what I buy for my photography a very special thanks.

Accessories Here are my suggestions: 1) A UV / Haze filter. This protects the front element of its objective and is much cheaper to replace. 2) A circular polarizer. The polarizer is used to darken the blue sky and to eliminate glare / reflections from glass, water, snow, sand and painted metal – but not polished metal. 3) A lens cleaning cloth and a brush soft. You can find both http://www.bhphotovideo.com I used a "lipstick" style lens brush and lens cloth for decades to keep the filters clean. In 37 years I have never used a liquid lens cleaner. 4) A quality tripod. Manfrotto, Slik, Velbon, Gitzo, Gitta are all good brands. This is an issue that suggest buying a real camera store. Its better to try before you buy a tripod. In some cases you should choose a "head" (actually what the camera attaches to) to the tripod. When buying filters, do not waste your money on cheap, if not the name. Buy quality. Heliopan, Tiffen, B + W, Hoya filters are all excellent brands. I suggest buying all filters in the "fine" or "slim" installation to avoid any possibility of bullet (dark corners on the images) with the focal length of 18 mm. My tips for a better picture: 1) Always shoot at maximum resolution of your camera, unless that whatever they plan to do with the photos is the e-mail or use them on eBay or MySpace. 2) Use a tripod whenever possible. 3) Use the lowest ISO the camera permits. 4) Learn all environments and feature of the camera, reading and STUDYING the Owner's Manual. Remember, a camera is really just a box silly. You, the photographer, must have direct control and the idiot box to do what he wants to do the photo you want to do. "Photos are not taken, will do." My personal choice is Shutterbug. 7) Avoid what I call the "gunner mentality" when hunting. That's where you take 300 pictures and I hope a few out. If you take 300 pictures and have no evil idea why they are bad, what have you learned? Apart from how to take 300 pictures wrong. Develop what I call the "sniper" mentality – an exhibition a good image. Consider the image you want to do and how. Ponte. Try this exercise: Leave your lens at 55mm and make 36 exposures. DELETNG NO. 36 exposure is all that allowed. DO NOT DELETE. This exercise will definitely help you reduce and actually think about what you do. Sure, you can cheat, but you would only be fooling yourself. Do not fall into the "Oh, I can fix it in Photoshop" mentality. We always try to "get it right in camera" and maintain its processing back to a minimum. Do not ever be satisfied with the first view of a scene. Sit. Move a few yards left or right. Stand on a bench or tree trunk. Bed in her womb. Lie on your back. Zoom out. Zoom in not just stand there like a statue and press the shutter. Learn to pay attention to the background so they ask respect. Trees or posts of "growth" of the subject's head or power lines "run through it are not flattering.
