Camera battery too powerful? (Olympus Stylus)?
The stock battery on the Olympus Stylus 1030 is a "Li-50B 925mAh" Can you buy a "Li-50B 1200mAh" as a backup battery, or that may damage the camera because of too much power. The description I buy the battery says it will work in the camera. But I do not want to ruin the camera because the battery is too strong (1200mAh instead of 925mAh). Both versions (of values and one that wants to buy) are 3.7 volts.
Recently I learned these amps are as CCA – cold cranking amps. Hence, 1200mAh life will give you more without exhausting your electronic device, providing the tension is similar. With Colin, for correcting me!
