nikon d3000 lens cap
The best way to keep clean crystalline lens cap … porter? put it in your pocket? other suggestions?

I had my SLR camera (Nikon D3000) for more than a week, and I would like to know what you think is the best way to keep the lens clean. When I've been using my camera I have been putting face lens cap side up, on a table. Other times when I have a better place to say keep it in my pocket. Which of these options is best? Maybe get a lens cap keeper is a better option, but not dirty by keeping the lens cap dangling near the part where you have to rotate, and zoom (sorry I I called a lens, but I do not know what the name of the real thing called spin)? Do not worry, I follow some guidelines as to avoid changing lenses too often do not touch the lens and keeping the camera away from the carpet and other dusty areas. Also, I'm looking for in a lens cleaning kit, one that is relatively cheap, but will work fine. What would you recommend?

Keep clean the lenses is a constant problem for a photographer. The first thing you have to do is get yourself a lens cleaning kit, something with a bit of cleaning liquid, a white cloth, paper pads – disposable wipes, basically, and very useful and a small hand blower. Places like this are available almost anywhere that sells cameras and are not very expensive. I would not worry about the lens cap too. If it turns to dust and dirt on it, the fan will probably remove it quickly. It is the glass itself you should be careful.
