Cannon, Nikon and Fujifilm?

I have reduced to four options and I have to make up my mind today. I begin my photography classes next week and I need super to buy this camera soon. I have these to choose what I can afford right now: – FujiFilm FinePix S7000's Super CCD HR digital camera – NIKON D40 DIGITAL SLR CAMERA D 40 BODY 170 degrees LCD – Nikon E5400 – Pentax Digital SLR Camera istDL I am a student / beginner and have no idea what would be best for me. Get the D40 or a Canon SLR camera. Nikon and Canon both have a great value. I have a D40 and I love it! I recommend keeping the 18-55mm lens that comes with it and also get the lens of 200 mm VR-55 for long shots. Both lenses are really fun and give you great flexibility.
