Scope for Savage rifle 10FCM Scout?

Any suggestions for a good extended the reach of the eye relief? I recently purchased a savage 10FCM scout rifle in .308. Above all goin to the range, but huntin pork on the menu in the future. The rifle comes with iron phantom view is fine, and fun. I have some rings for quick release ….. However, the Nikon Monarch variable power eer I did not give me enough relief seen through scope, and I can not move forward over the saddle. Do I have to go with a fixed spread of energy, a field gun, or not Leupold or other company that eer a variable power scope that will work? Anyone with details or experience would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Check EER Burris 2×7 scope. They work much in dispute. I have a Simmons 2X6 scope Silver Medal in the victory. 94 with a scout mount, but I do not make more. The Burris should give a lot of relief the eye and are very clear. 2 of energy is ideal for close-ups and range, or when you need to take a long shot on 7 power budget. Lose a small field of view using an area EER compared with a standard eye relief scope. Good luck with the new rifle. Always remember to wear ear and eye protection and enjoy your new weapon.
