Is there anyway to get the pictures on my computer w / o the format of my camera?
I do not want to format my Olympus xD Card M + 2GB. When I turn on my camera CARD SETUP approaches, gives me two options CLEAN CARD FORMAT. There used to a particular format, because I lose all my photos.
To transfer your camera pictures without the need for a USB card reader or card slot on your computer. Insert the card into the correct slot. Autoplay Windows may prompt you from there. If you can not use Explorer or My Computer to locate the card and the card image files. Use copy and paste them into a folder on your computer. Open the folder to verify the transfer. Now you can put the card in the camera and format.
