tamron 17-50 canon

What should be my next goal? /?

I rebel XTi and 50mm f 1.8 kit lens without. what should be the next lens? No I will buy canon .. can not afford. How is this Sigma 17-70? or Tamron 17-50??? any suggestions in the third lens?

Have you considered Canon EF-S 18-200mm IS lens? $ 595.00 at B & H. Tamron 18-200mm is $ 289.95 at B & H. The Sigma 18-200mm is $ 319.00 at B & H. The Canon EF-S 18-55mm is from $ 155.00 (after rebate) at B & H. The Tamron 17-50mm is $ 449.00 at B & H, but the constant opening of f2.8 which explains the price. The Sigma 17-70 is $ 369.00 at B & H. If you've decided you do not really need much zoom as the 18-200mm then I suggest the Tamron 17-70mm f2.8.
