It is the Sigma 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC lens good? I know that Tamron is a similar but which is best?
I shot with a Canon 20D and am looking for a good, fast lens to shoot pictures of my new baby. I know it has a lens similar to Sigma Tamron one, but the Tamron was a bit too strong for me, while the approach. Now I could probably look at the fact that if the Tamron is the best bet in image quality above all.
In general, Sigma lenses are slightly better than the Tamron lenses, but if you have a 20D, you might as well go for the Canon lens … see if can get a discount.
